Ham-Mushroom Sandwiches
Ingredients:
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tbs. butter
2 kaiser rolls, cut in half
4 thin slices fully cooked smoked ham
4 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:
Cook and stir mushrooms, onion, garlic and butter in 10" skillet until mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes. Cover and remove from heat. Toast rolls, cut side up, under broiler until toasted. Place 1 ham slice on each half. Spoon about 1/4 of the mushroom mixture onto each half. Top with cheese slices; broil just until cheese is melted. Makes 4 open-face sandwiches.
