Horseradish Sauce

Ingredients:

2 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs. flour
1 c. milk
1 small onion, chopped
a few almonds, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
Pinch of salt and pepper
2 Tbs. horseradish

Directions:

Melt butter but do not brown. Add flour and gradually stir in milk. Add chopped onion, almonds, sugar,salt and pepper. Cook together for 15 minutes over low heat or in a double boiler. Before serving fold in horseradish and, if desired, enrich with a little butter or cream.
