Lemon Sponge Pie
Ingredients:
2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
lump of butter (size of walnut)
juice of 1 lemon and the zest
2 bs. flour

Directions:
Mix together the egg yolks with the sugar (then add the rest of the ingredients except the egg whites) Beat the egg whites until stiff, then fold in. Pour into unbaked 9" pie shell. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, then 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Makes 6-8 Servings

Cook Time: 50 min
