Oyster Stew
Ingredients:
2 green onions, chopped
2 Tbs. butter, melted
1 (12 oz.) container fresh stewing oysters, undrained
1 qt. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/8 tsp. red pepper

Directions:
Saute green onions in butter in a Dutch oven until onions are tender. Add remaining ingredients to onion mixture. Cook over low heat until edges of oysters begin to curl and mixture is hot, but not boiling. Serve with crackers. Makes 6 cups.
