Party Meatballs


1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
2 oz. bleu cheese, cubed
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. beef bouillon


Combine beef and egg; add salt. Mix well. Shape 1 Tbs. meat mixture around 1 cube of cheese. Roll in flour; brown in hot shortening. Add bouillon; cover. Simmer for 10 minutes. Insert colored picks in each meatball. Serve hot.
