Pecan-Date Loaf
Ingredients:
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sifted flour
1 lb. pitted dates
4 c. pecan halves
1 Tbs. bourbon

Directions:
Combine sugar, eggs and oil; beat well. Add dry ingredients, mixing well. Fold in dates, pecans and bourbon. Spoon into greased and floured 9x5x3" loaf pan. Start loaf in cold oven set for 300 degrees and bake for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
