Ingredients:
3 medium potatoes, peeled if desired, sliced thin
3 Tbs. each oil and butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Fresh ground pepper to taste

Directions:
In large heavy skillet over medium heat, cook potatoes in oil and butter until browned on bottom. Turn potatoes; cook until brown; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
