Escalloped Oysters
Ingredients:
1 qt. oysters
Salt and pepper
1-1 1/2 c. fresh cracker crumbs
5 Tbs. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 qt. oysters
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Butter the sides of a 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Place a layer of oysters on bottom. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle generously with cracker crumbs, dot with butter. Repeat until oysters have been used, ending with crumbs and butter. This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for several hours. Pour milk over top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
