Ingredients:
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlif, chopped
3 Tbs. oil
1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cubed
2 small cans tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 bay leaf
1 paste can water
Chopped parsley

Directions:
Saute onion and garlic in oil; remove from pan. Brown stew beef in remaining oil in pan. Combine tomato paste, onion, garlic, parsley, spices and water; add beef. Simmer 4 hours on very low heat. Serve over rice or macaroni.
