Ingredients:
6 large sweet onions
4 Tbs. butter
4 Tbs. flour
2 c. milk
2 c. cheese, grated

Directions:
Peel, slice and separate onions into rings. Place in casserole. Make the white sauce of butter, flour and milk. When thick, add cheese and stir until melted. Pour over onions. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
