Beef Burgandy over Rice
Ingredients:
4 lbs. beef chuck roast, cubed
1/4 c. oil
2 c. condensed onion soup
1 clove garlic, minced
2 c. Burgandy
1 6 oz. can whole mushrooms, drained
4 c. cooked rice

Directions:
Brown beef cubes on all sides in oil in skillet. Stir in soup, garlic and wine. Spoon into 3 qt. baking dish. Bake, tightly covered, for 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 hours or until beef is tender. Stir in mushrooms. Bake for 15 minutes longer. Serve over hot rice.
