Ingredients:
3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. white flour
2 Tbs. flour
2 Tbs. melted shortening
1/3 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sweet milk

Directions:
Sift flour and corn meal. Add baking powder, salt and sugar; sift again. Add beaten eggs, milk and melted shortening; beat well. Pour in well greased shallow pan, 8x10". Bake at 425 for 25 minutes.
