Cream Cheese Cookies
Ingredients:
1 stick margarine
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
2 1/2 c flour
Pecan halves

Directions:
Cream shortening; add cream cheese and sugar. Add egg yolk, extract and flour, and mix well. Dip small amounts onto cookie sheet far enough apart to allow for spreading. Place pecan half in center of each cookie. Bake about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
