Fudge Brownies
Ingredients:
BROWNIES
5 oz. unsweetened chocolate, cut into pieces
3/4 c. butter
1 Tbs. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
FROSTING
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 Tbs. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
BROWNIES

1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
FROSTING
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbs. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. butter, softened

Directions:
Grease 13x9" pan. In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and 3/4 c. butter, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 Tbs. vanilla; set aside.
In large bowl, combine sugar and eggs; beat about 7 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Add flour, chocolate mixture and nuts to egg mixture; stir just till blended. Pour batter into greased pan. Bake at 375 for 25 to 35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool completely.
In small bowl, combine all frosting ingredients; blend until smooth. frost cooled bars; refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
