Kansas City Cheese Steak
Ingredients:
4 sirloin sandwich steaks, 4 oz. each
3 tbs. olive oil
green pepper julienned
medium yellow onion, sliced
4 hoagie rolls split lengthwise
Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
Seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried marjoram
1 tsp. granulated garlic
1 tsp. chili powder
4 sirloin sandwich steaks, 4 oz. each
3 tbs. olive oil

medium yellow onion, sliced
4 hoagie rolls split lengthwise
Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
Seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dried basil

Directions:
Combine seasoning ingredients. Slice steaks across the grain into thin pieces. Thoroughly coat steak slices with seasoning.
Heat half the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Sauté steak slices to desired doneness and remove from pan.
With the rest of the olive oil, sauté the green pepper and onion until done. Preheat oven broiler. Lay out hoagie rolls on a baking sheet and layer meat slices sautéed peppers and onions and sliced cheese. Place sheet pan under broiler. Remove when cheese has melted.
Makes 4 Servings
