Pennsylvania Red Cabbage
Ingredients:
2 Tbs. bacon drippings
4 c. shredded red cabbage
2 c. cubed unpared apple
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/4 tsp. salt dash pepper
1/2 tsp. caraway seed

Directions:
Heat drippings in skillet; add remaining ingredients and 1/4 c. water. Cook covered over low heat; stir occasionally. For crisp cabbage, cook 15 minutes; for tender, 25-30 minutes.
