Ingredients:
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 c. flour

Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add powdered sugar, beating well until light and fluffy. (mixture will be stiff.) Press into a 15x10x1" jellyroll pan; prick all over with a fork. Chill 30 minutes.
Bake at 375 for 5 minutes; reduce heat to 300, and bake an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut into squares or diamond shapes while warm, and sprinkle with sugar. Makes 6 dozen.
