Strawberr-Pineapple Pie
Ingredients:
Pastry for 2-crust pie
1 c. sugar
4 Tbs. cornstarch
1/2 tsp.salt
4 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple
2 Tbs. butter
Pastry for 2-crust pie
1 c. sugar
4 Tbs. cornstarch
1/2 tsp.salt
4 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple
2 Tbs. butter
Directions:
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in strawberries and pineapple. Turn into pastry-lined 9" pie pan. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust; flute edges. Brush top of pie with milk. Bake in hot oven (400) 40 to 50 minutes. Cool on rack before serving.
