Celery Parmigiana Style
Ingredients:
1 very lg. bunch celery
2 qts stock or water
1 small onion
1 clove
2 slices bacon
1 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Clean celery, remove leaves and cut stalks into 5" pieces. Cook in boiling stock or water with onion, clove and bacon 15 minutes, or until celery is tender. Place 1 layer celery in greased shallow casserole, top with tomato sauce, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and repeat layers until celery is all used, ending with tomato sauce and cheese. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
Makes 4 servings
