Cheddar Chive Drop Biscuits
Ingredients:
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. plain yogurt
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. chopped fresh chives

Directions:
Grease cookie sheets. In large bowl. combine flour, baking powder and salt; blend well. Using pastry blender or fork, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add yogurt, cheese and chives; stir just until moistened. Drop dough by generous tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 450 for 9 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 18 biscuits.
