Cowboy Coffee Cake
Ingredients:
2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. sour milk
2 beaten eggs
2 1/2 c. flour

2 beaten eggs
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt, and shortening till crumbly; reserve 1/2 c. To remaining crumbs, add baking powder, soda, and spices; mix well. Add milk and eggs; mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8x1 1/2" round pans; top with reserved crumbs. Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm.
